Terms of Use

It has become necessary for me to make some terms of use in order to use my graphics. I had hoped that people would show common consideration and good sense but there have been many people who just don't give a damn and show no respect or consideration for other's hard work.

Giving my graphics away on your site

There have been quite a few people who have begun giving my graphics away on their sites without permission and not even credit. I went to a lot of trouble making my graphics for my own site. If you want to give away graphics on your site make your own to give away. If asked I would give permission for some to be made available on other's sites but there should be a limit to the amount and I should definitely get credit!

Credit Link

I have never made it a requirement to give me a link on your pages if you used my graphics, I had hoped that it would just be an obvious courtesy. I worked hard on these pages and on the graphics I made and I've spent alot of money on hosting and it would be nice to at least get a link. I don't care if it's just a text link. I do have linking graphics available to use, but a text link is fine. I am still not going to go around demanding a link, but please think about this.
Of course there have been many good people who gave me a credit link and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Everyone is more than welcome to add their own link to my Users Links Page. And, my Hawg Site, Babe's Hawg Dot Com has a massive Link Directory you can submit your site to. But of course, I do request a reciprocal link in return.

Linking to my graphics

Do NOT link to the graphics, download them to your own server!

Hot Link protection has been enabled. If you try linking to the graphics all you'll get is my banner.

Crediting Artists

I made many of the graphics you'll find here myself, but some very talented and generous artists created many of these graphics for you to use free. Many took the time to create and donate graphics just for this site for bikers! I spent a lot of time getting permission to use them and give them away. I have never required a link back to this site in return for the graphics (although I sure do appreciate it and it helps other bikers find graphics!), but I do ask that you credit the graphics you use to their rightful artists.
When an artist makes an image, it is usually copyrighted. Someone designed each of the graphics on this site, and they have not released it from copyright as far as I know, but have made it available for use on the web for non-commercial purposes. Most of the graphics on these pages are used with permission from the artist. These images are free to use on your non-commercial webpages, but it is always a good idea to credit them to their rightful designer.

Please do not use any of the images available as your logo or t-shirt design. There are many talented artists on the web and many biker artists. Find one to create a custom and copyright free logo. Do a search through Google or try my link directory here and at Babe's Hawg Dot Com.
